About Brian Gooding

Brian brings more than 30 years of business development experience in the luxury real estate industry. As a former owner, organization leader, and salesperson - Brian has built a reputation of high performance and visionary sales leadership in a variety of markets. In a previous role, Gooding co-founded Windermere Homes and Estates, a luxury residential real estate brokerage in San Diego, California. Under Gooding’s leadership, the company grew to be the 5th largest brokerage in San Diego and later Palm Springs with over 550 agents and 13 offices. Specializing in luxury sales in San Diego and Palm Springs. Windermere Homes and Estates was named the fastest-growing brokerage in the state of California in 2015. Their sales in 2018 exceeded 1.4 billion with 2,500 transactions. Brian sold his 50% interest to his partner in late 2019. Before he co-founded Windermere Homes and Estates, Brian held management and sales positions at a variety of notable organizations. A few highlights in his career include: Managing all aspects of a sales division, including marketing, international alliances, and off-site promotional events as Director of Sales at Oil Nut Bay Managing a sales team of up to 9 professionals during one of the most difficult and challenging markets in years. He led the team to close 40+ homesites totalling over $40 million as Director of Sales at Christophe Harbour Increasing sales by 400% and San Diego market share from 0% to 8% in the first 5 years as General Manager at Windermere Exclusive Properties Leading a sales team to generate $15-20 million annually in new sales in addition to $25-30 million annually in resale properties as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Desert Horizons Country Club in California Gooding has humbly been described as a first-class sales leader and respected mentor by his colleagues. His approach as a leader in organizations is quite simple - to create an environment that attracts professionals who are enthusiastic about what they do and want to work together to continuously raise the bar. Brian feels very fortunate to have been in Leadership positions in many markets, including Mexico, Palm Springs, Central Oregon, and the Caribbean. He is a proud husband and father of three children. In his downtime, you can find Brian on the golf course or visiting beautiful places with his family.
